I went for a more traditional 'evy metal style of painting on him to fit in with the rest of my necro stuff (see below). Not sure I like how it turned out. He seems a little dark or missing a spot colour or something. What do you think?
I'm also starting to build up a bit of a took kit of NPC type characters that can be used in various different scenarios. Next, I have plans to sculpt some citizens of the imperium, who will wretched, disheveled fellows that mirror the grinding horror of a galaxy where there is only war. Not warriors, just terrified, common people.
I've also realised that I have all kinds of things to use in special scenarios. It's just a matter of thinking outside the codex box. Like these:

DeleteI painted him years ago based on a fuzzy recollection that it was the colour worn by Segmentum Pacificus navy officers.
